ARABIC LANGUAGE CLASSES FOR ALL, NIV.1 - TEACHER BOOK

by: Sami Azar en Mujahed Hattab

This book is more than a first book in the series for the ALEF Arabic language classes for children. In addition to providing guidelines and support for the lessons, the book uses a new teaching method. The new teaching method came into being after research showed that when it was applied in the ALEF curriculum, the time to learn the Arabic alphabet was reduced by 50 percent.

In addition, the book also includes information on famous language teaching methods for non-native speakers. There is a series of scenarios outlined which give the teacher inspiration on how to use the different teaching methods to match with their own personality, in order to get the best results in creating an active, participatory and enthusiastic teaching/learning experience. There are also some ideas for activities in the classroom or in the playground, and it offers suggestions on how to solve some common issues faced by Arabic teachers in Europe.
